2011 Christmas Show schedule

Ok 2011 it is on with new songs and new hours. I have changed a few things and added a few things so check us out. This years hours are Lights On 6:30 and Off at 10 except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New years Eve we will be on until Midnight. I hope to have new Video out just after Thanksgiving. That is I hope, it is not easy.

Video’s from the December 10, 2010 block party are up and running. The quality is not as good as the videos from 2009 or 2008 but I am still working on the edit function for 2010. I am hoping the HD video’s are on the web site before 2011 or just after the New Year.

We have added a few new songs and changed the opening this year and we hope you like it. In order to keep the show to about 30 minutes I have split the songs to be played every other night as listed below. We plan to start on November 26, 2010 but as always we hope for the best in weather and no computer problems. Show to start 7PM and finish at 10PM except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve we will finish at 1130PM. Music will run 24/7 on 107.1FM. Comments are always welcomed.

December 31, 2009 was the final night of our light show. We start to take everything down starting January 1, 2010. It has been a great season as outlined below

After Christmas Show Hours Friday and Saturday 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM Every Other Day 6:30 PM until 10:00 PM Except New Years Eve 12/31/09 on until 11:30

There has been a lot of traffic this year and it has been great fun. We have passed out about 500 Candy Canes so far this season. Last Night of the show is December 31, 2009 at 11:30.

Plan to have extended hours on December 23, 24 and 25 and keep running until January 1, 2010. I had to turn it off early tonight because of the rain. Should run until 1130 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

I plan to have the Show Start and Stop time changed. Starting at 6:30 and Finish at 10:30 PM on December 18, 19 and 20 and Finish at 1130PM on December 23, 24 and 25. During the normal week days it will Finish at 10PM. Additional Information About the show. The following is based on questions I have received in the past week

It took me with help about 180 man hours to get everything set up for 2009. That is every week end and 4 vacation days in November with help on most of those days.
My electric usage is about $50 more in December than normal
Most of what is displayed I made throughout the year. All of the lighted trees, candy cane fence, balls in the trees and the large wreath.
Sequence to music. Is individually done by me on a computer to each song. It takes about 15 to 20 man hours for me to do a song now, as I have gotten faster. In the beginning maybe as long as 40 hours. As I see the sequences being displayed I go back and make adjustments for the first week or so.
I start planning for next year in February. February is when I order new lights so I can get the best discounts.
